Glycine or NAC 600 mg or Asenapine 5 mg please help!
i am on abilify 400 mg maintena, rivotril 1 mg twice daily and nobiten 5 mg half a pill in morning
I have paranoid schizophrenia with severe negatives
i reacted to Seroquel 100 mg (2 months until it pooped out and never worked again)
and Minocycline 50 mg and other anti biotics ear drops from cipro (that anti biotic)
cleared up my psychosis completelly
What do you need help with? Choosing between glycine or NAC ?
Yes sort off when I took 4 grams of glycine that is effective against depression but i became overactive in my talking that is full a teaspoon
I think glycine would require a larger dose to do much, unless it’s sarcosine that you’re using. I don’t know about NAC.
I think you have to try both of them to see what the effects are…i’m using seroquel at night and it works for me. I think this is different for each one of us! Where you’re from Jeroen?
Who says you can’t use both. That is if you can afford it.
Will go with the Glycine from vital nutrients, i’ve read it can penetrate the brain blood barrier thingie : )
other brands cannot
that’s why i had a positive effect from it

Jeroen, my doc (after 15 years finaly found him) is one of the better docs from the Netherlands (Dirk Corstens)…i agree with him that for 99 % of the people meds are helping but is not the solution. He offers me now a sort of therapy to find a way to live with my voices! I still use meds but very little. 1,5 mg haloperidol during the day and 25 mg seroquel during the night! I think that the right doc and the right meds can help us! Where in Belgium are you from?
i have insulting voices, but not commanding voices, i have been bullied when i had my first psychotic episode more then a decade ago when i was 14 years old in school can you imagine 
people noticed my anxiety and depression and schizo â– â– â– â– and started to bully me severely while i was suffering severe.
im glad JayJay you found a treatment that works but seroquel worked for me but it pooped out after 2 months and never kicked in again that’s why i wanna try Glycine NMDA receptor Modulate anti psychotic from the 3rd generation of natural anti psychotic
i dont know if you have depression of negative symptoms but with me they are severe. it’s very disabling me ;(

Jeroen, my voices (at most 3) are also insulting me but never commanding me! I started to hear voices at the age of 20, i’m now 36. My voices are talking against my mind and are saying the whole day that they are going to kill me and that the whole world hears my thoughts. I had an episode of two years that i haven’t hear any voices. This was a period that i started an study (nurse) of three years, so i have 1 year to go and for about a month i became in a psychose. I think the trigger was to much stress! My voices started through the noise of blackbirds (merels)…during the top of my psychose the voices went through every sound around me (T.V. radio, cars, talking of people) can you tell me something about your voices?
I hope that you will find meds that will work for you but what i learned through the years is that better days will come sooner or later…
i have all kinds of voices insulting, paranoid ones like he’s watching me and dont like me it’s all because of that bullying sais my shrink, i actually didn’t bully anyone until i got bullied, to defend myself it was so bad.
Well my doc thinks that my voices can come from traumas and using drugs and alcohol…i agree with him…drugs and alcohol isn’t a issue anymore (4 years clean)…do you have a good doc?
i have 2 pdocs yes, and i am also convinced it comes from traumas
Can you see the things in perspective? I mean are there moments during the day that you realize that the voices are fake?
Yes, but i have a paranoid feelings too that are false beliefs and much bothersome like i can’t for some reason listen to loud music in public places its very strange! also somehow associated with those fake voices i know they are fake but a hell!
Yeah i understand that Jeroen, i also can’t have to much loud noises around me…i notice them to hard and they are an opening for my voices…do you have a job at the moment and how is the health care in Belgium when you have psychical problems and can’t work?
