lease note this is an antipsychotic in Phase II FDA study. Although information has been spreading around about it like any antipsychotic agent it should be taken only under a psychiatrist’s supervision. Under the official study (search phrase, “Dr. Javitt, glycine”) it is given with a standard antipsychotic, it is the basis of a new generation of antipsychotics, the glutamate antagonists (technically NMDA receptor modulates) that promote a fuller recovery and do not cause tardive dyskinesia (which I have in advanced form from previous antipsychotics) or diabetes. I will be documented in a standard psychiatric journal as being the first person to recover with it as a primary antipsychotic. At that time, the case study will be published online. In the meantime, some psychopharmocologists are starting to incorporate it into treatment but please if you see information about it on the web speak to your psychiatrist first. As for its usages other than an antipsychotic, I can’t comment and as for its use as an antipsychotic, it can’t be taken with Clozaril as they interact and in myself and other people it can be short acting so the dose should be divided throughout the day. To be fair minded I won’t provide any more information but the clinically confirmed case study will be available for people to speak to their psychiatrist about this promising new antipsychotic agent in development.
i just want to give people some nice hope, because i need it myself…
Hi Jimbob i know this because i got an anti depressant effect from it aswell just dont combine it with meds that may cause tachardia attacks, its dangerous like seroquel in myself
May I ask what your dosing is like? and how to start it? lowest dose possible?
Sarcosine nearly miraculously cured me of my negative symptoms of schizophrenia, I tried glycine too but it must be taken in such high doses that I nearly threw up, sarcosine does exactly the same thing but is stronger anyway. You are right about glycine and sarcosine interacting with clozapine, it is a huge predicament as I’m on clozapine and it’s the only thing that works for my positive symptoms. I’ve been taking clozapine in the morning and afternoon but sarcosine at night, the sarcosine helps me alot but I can’t get the level of clozapine in my system that I need for my positives, I’m not sure what to do. My only hope is that the sarcosine improves my condition enough that I don’t need the clozapine (i have noticed a steady improvement so it might happen)
dmdar, it worked for me also sarcosine i could ditch the seroquel XR low dose and use sarcosine instead, it works for positive symptoms aswell that was my experience
Ok so I’m confused. Could someone explain what this thread is about? Is this a supplement that we can take in addition to our current meds or a new novel antipsychotic that’s in clinical trials?
