Getting some catatonia

Yes, maybe it has a biphasic dose-response curve. Ie. there may be a “sweet spot” dose for treating catatonia, and if you take less or more of it than that, it is less effective or even has the opposite effect and serves to elicit catatonia.

-A.

Catatonia comes in two forms usually. One is full blown, person unable to move, remains mute as if in a seizure episode. Other is partial like able to control some part of body though some regions stiff. Amantadine and other dopamine agonist drugs useful for the second category. While for the first one dopamine agonist drugs not useful and do more harm than good. For the first category benzodiazepines, ECT etc useful.

I was the same, dear… Open mouth and very rushing thoughts in the same time, inability to move… Maybe the fact, that we think in those moments, means that its not catatonia, i am not sure  … My brain was very tensed too… Tbh, now i try to fix this by staying more chill, but the result is that i am quite depressed and i lack energy… But i even prefer this, than the inability to move, yeap… Do you have racing thoughts too while like this, aziz? Me, i was having headaches though…
I hope it goes away for you.

It might still be worthwhile mentioning it to your doctor.

No racing thoughts, just freezing. I have sz, not sza. No more symptoms today. I guess it passed.
