They asked me if I wanted the nitrous oxide gas and I said yes so hopefully that will take the nervousness away with pulling my tooth…I am scared…anyone else had a tooth pulled at the dentist? how was it?
original listerine cleans the germ that causes cavities. that germ is strep mutans which eats sugar and excretes acid. ibuprofen is what i use when i have a toothache.

I was a dental assistant for several years and have seen many teeth pulled,
And had one out myself.
You’ll feel some pressure, but you won’t care on account of the nitrous.

I have two regular molars pulled and all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. Just be careful to follow the dentists after care directions for the socket and all should be good

I had my wisdom teeth pulled when I was about 28 years old but that was a big procedure.
I had a couple of teeth pulled as a kid. It was a little uncomfortable when the dentist was working but when he actually pulled out the tooth I didn’t even feel it. I was surprised. It was kind of anti-climatic.
I have a dental procedure today too I’m not too excited about…
Good luck. I need to have teeth pulled at some stage due to over crowding. I’m a little worried about it myself. I’m the person that has those horrible dreams about my teeth falling out for no reason. Tell us how it went.
vinegar and salt because they are both very acidic corrosives hurt teeth.
I think you’ll be okay. I have had a couple of teeth pulled, they have very good pain killers and local anesthetic.
well it’s out…the tooth was deep and had to be cut in several pieces before they could get it all out…took her two hours…I thought it was like twenty mins…haha…thanks everyone.

Two hours -geez you have those poor dentists a run for their money. Good! If your dentists charge anything like they do in Oz you’ll want them to work for it.
