Getting depressed on meds

The meds work against the voices, but now I get depressed… am on Abilify. Really depressed…

Going outside doesn’t work.

Does anyone take also antidepressant next to medication?

Yes. I take Wellbutrin next to APs. I’m very happy with that med.

Yes, i take Venlafaxine along with my AP’s. Works wonders. I do see a psychologist as well.

i’m on sertraline combined with my AP meds. It helps really well for me.

I take Celexa with my Haldol

I take Bupropion and Invega Trinza. They help keep me stable.

Yah i just restarted zoloft and its been helping but my dose isnt high enough yet for it to do a whole lot. I’m also on rexulti and depakote.

Aww I’m sorry to hear your getting depressed :pensive: i hope you come out of the depression soon. Keep trying little challenges each day to keep you going like reading a chapter of a book or eating something nice

I was super depressed and emotional on risperidone!

I am on 5mg risperidone. Idk if I am depressed but have bad negatives. What meds are you on now?

Vraylar 1.5mg and olanzapine 20mg.

I am going to try Vraylar this summer, its now approved in Canada. I have a Dr apt in June.

I’ve noticed that people react very differently on second gen AP’s. Vraylar has been a good med for me. I just hope that I can get off olanzapine. It made me fat. Maybe I can get off it when I recover some more.

Yes. But it made me a little bit aggressive/irritable. Which is good, I’m too nice. :wink:

Took a 400mg magnesium supplement, and feel a bit better.

Im on cymbalta 30mg with 6mg resperidone
