I’ve been on Abilify since last May, and currently taking 15mg. I’m doing fine on that amount.

I’ve been on and off Abilify for years. Much to my surprise, my psychiatrist just took me off a Risperidone / Abilify mix and put me on the lowest dose of Abilify possible … 5.25 mg. Wish me luck!

Thanks @Aziz , Maybe he’s following up on a request to go off antipsychotics last year but at the time he was reluctant. 5.25 mg is basically nothing.

I get the Abilify needle every 3 weeks.
Other than having a short attention span…oh, wait…I forgot what I was going to say.

Seems like a weird dosage size…why not 5mg instead of 5.25mg. How much of a difference does .25 make?

Ok so its worth a try. For me I stopped my meds but was hospitalized 1-2y later.

Risperidal was making my negative symptoms worse and I asked him if I could drop Risperdal so I just went down to a trickle dose of Abilify. I sure hope the negatives are better.
