Getting a new therapist, possibly new pdoc

More changes! Me and my current therapist basically agreed that she couldn’t really do anything for me. Honestly I think we both knew that for a while but didn’t really have any alternatives. But recently she set me up with a lady who’s trained in emdr that’s more appropriate for me and I’ve had one session and think it went well! Me and my current therapist also discussed that seeing someone who could prescribe and give therapy would be helpful for me (because emdr isn’t a long term thing it’s supposed to have a set number of sessions) and turns out a new pdoc moved into the area who amazingly offers both or at least that’s what it says on her website. I called but they haven’t called back so I’ll probably have to go in to set up an appt or something. Oh well.

Summary: Therapist referred me to someone more comfortable w providing emdr for me short term & I’m looking into a new pdoc who claims to do dual therapy & prescribing long term.
