Getting a letter from Medicaid

Oh goodness. I have delivery notifications on the incoming mail. I see there’s a letter from my Medicaid provider. I’m so scared it’s going to be a letter of denial that they are stopping my coverage or won’t cover my meds or something. Mail gets delivered around 10:30-11ish. I’m already crippled with anxiety not knowing what this letter entails.

Sorry to hear that … I hope it’s good news and not bad… Prepare for the worst, hope for the best i guess. I’d try to remain optimistic.

I’m not sure what the nature of the letter is. But I always assume the worse when it comes to official letters in the mail. Last time I got a letter it was denying me medical coverage last June. Now I only have mental health coverage through the SMI Medicaid program here in AZ. I’m so scared I’m gonna lose that coverage. I wouldn’t be able to afford my medications.

Oh thank goodness! It was only a letter stating that I had both commercial insurance and Medicaid. The letter was stating they wanted to make sure I had purposefully done this and not insurance fraudsters starting me on insurance I didn’t need.

I got one but it was a survey. When I clicked the link my browser flagged it as spam so I just opted out.
