I had sexual dysfunction on invega. I took it for fourteen years. It’s not really noticeable so much on perphenazine. After the switch I was super turned on all the time. I think cause it was suppressed for so long. After a while I kinda leveled out. My amitriptyline causes very minor sexual dysfunction. I’m sure if I got off all meds it would come back full force. I used to get off invega all the time and within a week I was back.

2mg Risperidone and 40mg Citalopram. I don’t know why but I literally have no side effects down there. Even have a normal libido and even a stronger one if I don’t take for one day.
I wish I had no libido, it’s annoying.
Pfff just a week!? Im off 3 weeks now and still no libido, genital numbness, no improvements…

Interesting. I’m on 3 mg of Risperdal and 20 mg of Citalopram and the both of them just kill my libido and sexual capability.
Not at all i get hard sometimes when watching tv and seeing a womens lingerie commercial lol. There have been times ive fapped and finished in under 2 minutes, its like over stimulated feeling
I guess you always get what you don’t want.

8 weeks off meds now still experiencing the same problems and no improvements… Got all my hormones checked, prolactin was a bit low now instead off being too high while i was on AP’s, but there was nothing unusual that should be causing this problem.
My doctors don’t know whats wrong, want to send me to a sex therapist but on the PSSD forum i have not read a single successful story on this. Thats because it is likely some sort of brain damage, nerve damage and/or epigenetic damage…. There is no cure, just have to wait it out and see if it gets any better or not…. Sigh.
I have never had problems with APs making my privates numb. Too high a dose makes my head numb. Blah.

It’s been bad on zyprexa. I tried abilify one day and that increased libido a lot. Unfortunately I got a lot of other crazy side effects from it that made it unsuitable.
I have been off meds for brief periods in the past and libido has come back, so I know it’s med related.
Some supplements have been slightly helpful on meds, like oyster extract.
