Full moon and hallucinations? need advice

doe’s full moon affect your condition?? last night moon was full and very big, and before that night i have never had any clear hallucinations, only heard my name called and mostly around people or thought like voices, but last night i woke up at 2:30 because of some noises, at first i was very confused and sleepy and didn’t understood what it was, but then they became very clear, it sounded like people whispering in my room (i was alone at home) i couldn’ understand what they were saying, but it sounded like they repeated same sentences again and again, and in backround of those whisper there was another noise, like someone breathing very heavily, that ■■■■ really scared me, almost had a panic attack… i don’t remember how long they lasted, but when they stoped i looked through the window and saw some big green sparkling ball hanging in the sky for a few secs and then it fall down and disapeard before reaching the ground… should i be considered?? im taking quetepine but very low dose only for sleep and i can’t reach my pdoc now, maybe i should increase the dose by myself??

Are you a cancer (horoscope sign) and/or a wear wolf ?

im a scorpio, but i don’t think it has to do anything with it…

I actually had this delusion that I was turning into a werewolf and then the full moon would trigger a weird “howling” response. I’d howl at the moon and pretty soon all the dogs in the neighborhood would be howling and there’d just be this ungodly howling from a block’s worth of dogs (and myself).

@faithless there is no correlation between moon and schizophrenia, the genetic illness. There is, however, a chance that the full moon will trigger a hallucination, delusion, or something skitzy in people who already have schizophrenia. For example, I cannot look up at the stars or I see hundreds of glowing satellites (aka “stars”). I avoid looking up into space seriously, I do avoid it

The moon has a direct influence on the mind which can be seen and felt in varying ways during each unique phase of the moon. This is particularly hard for those who are slightly unstable as the pull that the moon exerts on the tides are also felt in the brain fluids, making the effects of mental illness more enhanced. This is how the asylums came to call their inmates ‘lunatics’ as they were worse, or more dangerous, during the full moon.
The moon also brings out the negative side of the cancerian nature which he or she must continually battle in order to overcome what could easily become a major flaw in character causing themselves and others much grief and pain
