Fruitcake: a seasonal treat or a gift to be regifted?

I love fruitcake! What about you? Do you eat in this time of year? As a child I was freaked out by the green cherries, lol.

As I child, I liked fruitcake, but I think it’s loaded with alcohol (I’m not sure though), so I avoid it because alcohol isn’t good with APs.

I actually like fruitcake now. Hated it as a child though.

Fruit cake is something I think I’d like, but the ones I’ve tried (made by amateurs)wasn’t good. One thing I don’t like in it is the (not fresh) cherries. I love cherries but the canned ones don’t taste good in the cake.
