Freudian slip

In psychoanalysis, a Freudian slip, also called parapraxis, is an error in speech, memory, or physical action that occurs due to the interference of an unconscious subdued wish or internal train of thought.

We all says tins sometimes we don’t truly mean

a slip of words

I was cooking with some friends once and one said “give me the N-word spoon” and then said “i meant the bigger spoon” a black guy a counselor said “thought i heard it but…”

that was all. wonder if that was internal train of thought or just a speech glitch.

Yes, but we also say true things
we don’t want others to know.
And we don’t want to admit it
