Freud was a coke- head.
Freud said that because he wanted to feel superior to his patients. If it were somebody besides him smoking the cigar Freud would insist that it was because they weren’t breast fed long enough. But if he does it, the cigar is just a good smoke.

That’s part of what I like about him. I developed a “taste” or interest for psychoanalysis only after I had learned about his use of and popularisation of cocaine.
