On fruit and vegetable day I go there after work, before it closes at 5:00 pm. I get off at 4:00 pm but I discovered that if I go just a couple minutes before 5:00 they’ll give me two boxes of fruit and vegetables instead of the usual one. I guess if no one takes the produce it goes to waste so they have to get rid of it somehow; so they give away the extra box. I’m not taking food out of anyones mouth. Yesterday I went at 4:55 pm and for the first time ever they were giving away fresh strawberries. Instead of two lbs. I got 4 lbs! I’ll freeze most of them so I can always have strawberries on hand for smoothies.

My Mom spent 7 bucks on a small bag of cherries it was ridiculous
