worse due to cataracts but not bad enough for surgery yet. If it gets appreciably worse during the next year, I am to call the clinic. It’s getting harder and harder to see my piano music and small print.
So do one get cataract due to diabetes?
Yes but I don’t have diabetes. Im just old.
Ok, my eye sight varies from time to time. Some times it gets very blur and most of the time I am fine with normal power glasses
How old are you? Are you diabetic? Are you on Cogentin? @Dr.A_B_C
I am 34 yes I am diabetic.
My doc started of insulin for a week and now stopped and back to meds.
Nope I am not on it.
Yes. Diabetes will do a number on your vision if the blood sugar isn’t kept under control: lower weight, take diabetes meds, reduce carbs, limit refined sugar, monitor blood glucose, exercise regularly. @Dr.A_B_C
I started walking and cycling yesterday did 10 kms of cycling and walking usually I do about 6 kms
That’s absolutely wonderful @An_the-c-ology ! I’m proud of you as a fellow sz/sza compadre. Thats great!
I’m sorry. I hate when everything is blurry. I had horrible eyesight before I had Lasik surgery. And since then, I’ve had meds in the past that caused everything to be blurry all the time. It sucks.
