Found one of my kittens dead on my back porch this afternoon

The 5 kittens (6 weeks old) were alive and playing at 6AM that morning, and when I saw them again in the afternoon, 4 were huddled together close by crying, the 5th kitten was stretched out by the water dispenser, and I knew it was dead.

I didn’t listen when my next door neighbor told me to stop feeding the stray outdoor cats, and she just had to include that she had already “taken care” of 3 other cats I had been feeding, so don’t worry about feeding them anymore.

She hates me too, so it makes me wonder if I’m going to be next.

I hate mean people.

That’s terrible Csummers. I believe in karma and your neighbour will have to face the consequences of her actions in the future.

That’s terrible! Are you sure she killed it? If so how did she only kill one of them? You must have a very nasty neighbor to do something like that

Your neighbor is the kind of mental case that gives the rest of us a bad reputation.

My neighbor has never been shy about telling me she traps all stray cats and dumps cage and all in a large garbage can filled with water.
Her hatredfor cats extends to those who feed them too, thats me.
Last year she felt the need to let me know she “took care” of 3 of my cats that I had been feeding, and they weren’t coming back.

Seems I’m surrounded by cat haters, including one who broke the cats fromt leg so bad it never healed right and was frozen in a ‘L’ shape making it unusable. That was one of the two poisoned in 2010, agter it escaped the meighbors cage when they moved and abandoned it, it showed up on my back porch and stayed there for the next 13 years. Gosh I loved that kitty too.

im sorry about your kitten, maybe it was a case of what happened to one of our kittens when i had all the cats.

i had 24 cats, 4 were originally strays and they had kittens because they were horny little mo fos hahah

but buffy had a litter, and a few days after one of the 5 kittens went blue. luckily we got hold of him in time and had to do resuscitation on him. it was disgusting cos the fluff n stuff was in mi mouth. yuk. but he came back alive and ended up being the biggest cat out of the litter!! he had huge paws xx

sometimes they look so healthy but sometimes things happen and we cant control it.

It is distressing to think that someone would hurt something as cute as a kitten. One time I secretly had a litter of kittens in my room at the assisted living center where I live. They found out about them and made me put them outside. Only one survived to adulthood. A dog killed a one, and a couple just disappeared. I hoped someone had taken them home with him or her.

Can’t you report her to the authorities? I don’t know how it is in the US, but here we have laws that forbid this kind of thing and she would face jail time

I could report her, but there would be no one to protect me from her, she’s quite the social big mouth and is vindictive.
