For the ladies. Grossness warning

I have a terrible rash under my breasts. What is your advice?

I used to get this all the time when I had big boobs.

You just have to not wear a bra and try to lay down as much as you can so your boobs aren’t rubbing up against the rash.

It’ll go away, but it takes a few days.

Can you put some powder on it or would Neosporin work?

Powder maybe. I’m not sure

Shower daily, use baby powder, and keep them cool and dry. It may be a yeast infection, so you need to see a doctor… especially if you’ve been on antibiotics.

I did take antibiotics for awhile.

Try putting cornstarch on it and wear a cotton bra if you can without underwrites. Walmart has them cheap. Reapply the cornstarch if you get wet again under them. Wash, get really dry, then apply cornstarch

I am a guy with a gal I helped her with this issue… Use medicated foot powder under breast its minor yeast infection… it will heat up a bit but rash will go away in 2 or 3 days after medicated powder is applied for those days.

I’ll try that. My bras are all without wire.

Hmm I wonder if I still have some

I’ve heard that you should wear a bra and use dusting powder. I had the same problem and did this. Just be sure to keep your bras clean. You need your breasts held up by the bra so they are less likely to create a warm place to irritate your rash. That is only if your rash is from sweating.

I get that sometimes, under and between, assuming you are sure it’s not a yeast infection, I try to wear not too tight cotton sports bras and keep them as dry as possible. If you’re home alone, sometimes I’ll just put a towel or shirt under my boobs to soak up the boob sweat and go topples for a few hours.

I have big boobs and I’ve never had a rash. I’ll probably get one tomorrow though bc I said that

I mean is it itchy or just irritating to look at?

It feels icky and I can smell it. Its grossing me out

I would probably put some antifungal on there, to rule out yeast.

I have the same thing under my breasts. It started a few weeks ago. I bought some baby powder cause I figured it was just from moisture under there ? ( I have big boobs too thanks to high prolactin )

I didn’t realise it could be a yeast infection though too. My rash has cracks in the skin it’s very sore. When I go to the doctors I think I will get it checked

I use talcum powder under mine.

The wife got sores underneath - from pregancy, and enlarged breasts with my girl. She just used medicated talc and went without a bra when indoors.

Just let plenty of air to get to them.

I get that in the summer. I deal with it by excusing myself to the bathroom to pat myself dry when I get too sweaty. I don’t use talcum/baby powder because I believe it’s been linked to cancer? Not sure how much evidence there really is but I stay away anyways.

If you use deodorant under your boobs, you may want to switch to a hypoallergenic/fragrance free one. I use Kiss My Face aluminum free deodorant and I haven’t had a problem since switching.
