Not sure if it’s the illness or the meds but I just can’t cry. Is horrible
I’m sorry @el_Jimbobbio
Thanks @Wave 151415
I’m sorry you can’t cry about it, @el_Jimbobbio.
I know it’s not going to make you feel better,
But I cry like 5 times a day average.
Everything from my own mortality to particularly touching TV commercials.
It’s not fun either.
Can’t win, can we?
I can’t cry either. I blame my olanzapine and cipralex.
I rarely cry. I don’t really mind.
I’m like @Charles_Foster
I cry or tear up a few times a day
Too little and too much emotion are issues
Before antidepressants I cried too much now I seldom cry
I cry at the drop of a hat. movies make me cry a lot. hey @el_Jimbobbio put on “adagio for strings” when I really need to cry I put that on…putting on “outside” in your honor right now.
Nope, no crying here either.
I usually can’t cry.
Except I cried lots losing my dog recently.
Yeah. I wish I can cry more. It’s an emotion.
I can cry if I want to but hate crying.
I can’t laugh. Another cruel part.
I don’t cry anymore now I am stable. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to be in control of your emotions. If I stop the meds the tears and histrionics come out.
I can cry, but it doesn’t happen very often.
Usually I can’t, then once in a while, do, unexpectedly.
For me, one of the BEST parts of the meds is I cant cry.
I don’t cry but sometimes want to.
I can definitely cry. But wen I was on a higher dose, I felt numb to crying
And numb to laughing.
I remember on the high dose,
I found things funny and laughed inside but could not actually physically laugh.
Sorry to hear you can’t cry…
Hope it improves one day.
Crying is therapeutic
@SkinnyMe i agree, being emotional is very difficult especially when you have been anhedonic for so long. I would like to be a normal average person without mh issues but it ain’t happening
