Changing from seroquel to latuda. My pdoc has mentioned this in the past.
I am pretty stable on seroquel but have zero get up and go. Would like to try latuda as it 1. Is supposed to be a bit more activating 2. It is the go to med in Scotland for losing weight due to APs
I figure if it doesn’t work I can always go back on the seroquel.
Thing is changing meds is hard. Is it worth the discomfort of changing?

Latuda is a great med. It’s hard to say if it’s worth it or not.

I’ve changed meds before and it did not end well for me more than a few times.
Be very careful @anon35166066.

Don’t you have to take it with 300 calories ? Are you organised enough to do this every day? (Or am I thinking of another AP? )

No, you are right @everhopeful.
You have to take Latuda with food.

I just watched a youtube video where this girl says to lower Seroquel by 25 mg a week. She said it was more sedating at a lower dose. She said the withdrawals made her hungry.
