I’m going to apply for an fMRI study for attention and memory for psychosis. Hopefully I can learn something from it, and it will help contribute for research for schizophrenia and other disorders with psychosis.

there was a tv programme about a person who tried a certain type of mri where they asked him to say a word that evoked the greatest response, he chose his brothers name who had sz, they managed to measure his responses and asked him to try and talk positively about it and it did make a difference.

Yes this one involves computer related memory and attention tasks while the fmri records the brain
I had this test done many years ago; it showed many deficits and changes in the brain.

I believe this place also offers eeg test but I think more for research projects. But I can apply for the fmri one.
how do i get one of these tests? i had an mri when i was just diagnosed but idk the results, i’d like to see the changes in my brain now and compare them
See if there is any cognitive neuroscience research labs near you. May be through a university as well.
An fMRI will detect blood flow and other metabolic changes in the brain, I don’t think a regular MRI does that
