I’ve recently been put on flupentixol injection two weekly, currently up to 80mg.
what if any is peoples experience with this antipsychotic??
what dose are most people on to stay well.
I feel like i’m slowly getting better after an acute psychotic episode last year after going through the trauma of reporting historical abuse. Just wondering what peoples experience with this drug is like?
I actually prefer the injection (even though I’m now down as non-compliant which is a knock to me, but it works better as theres no remembering to take tablets or anything.

Jon most mild psychotics can do with 40 - 80 mg of Depixol(Fluanxil) every other week. I m on Depixol sister drug Clopixol(Zuclopenthixol) 500 mg every 3 week…
Fluanxol is a 1 gen. Antipsychotics and its very safe.
From people I ve known they all say that it comes with very few side effects but is not as strong as other antipsychitics. While Depixol is used for light psychosis with anxiety and depression. My depot is used for heavy psychosis with severe aggitations and aggressions.
Well I have had Clopixol for nearly 3 decades without Break and it has served me well without any irrerversable effects.
Besides Clopixol I take 600 mg Qutiapine by mouth.
