Flea markets and other similar places

Do you go to flea markets or other places where they sell old items? I go quite often. I have bought my leather jackets and other clothes, I also have bought all my furniture at these places where they sell old items. I also have bought a plastic skull and other similar items such as an old globe. Sometimes it is just fun to walk around and look at what people are selling. We have 12 places including three traditional flea markets where they sell old items.

Here they have “transfer sites” which are basically small dumps, and they have a “reuse” pad where people drop off stuff they no longer want and you just take anything you like. I’ve found an iPod, clothes, tools, and Christmas cards, a bunch of other stuff, too. We also have like garage sales, but only in the summer since it’s too cold in winter. We don’t really have any flea markets, but there is the farmer’s market every weekend.

I never understood why they call them flea markets lol it sounds so unappealing… Like all the clothes there have fleas or something

Flea markets sound a little old, maybe the second-hand stores is better.

I thought that in bazzars they also sell new products. I am not sure.

My mum used to take me and my bro to a flea market in Truro when we were boys.

It was great looking at all the stalls and asking Santa at the x-mas grotto for a scalextric.

Flea markets and carboot sales are great.

We called them jumble sales where I’m at in Nottinghamshire. All our clothes were from there as kids in the 90s.
