and thank goodness I’m with a normal now…I doubt I will ever think about being with a mentally ill person ever again. My ex before my first wife was bipolar and we met on no longer lonely dot com…big mistake…she was really unstable most of the time…same with my first wife…we were both semi delusional on abilify and went through hundreds of thousands of dollars and had to claim bankruptcy !! it was a mess…I was happy with my first wife but by the time she stabilized semi enough to see what happened…she wanted out…she also thought she was getting back with her first husband…but he didn’t want her so now she is alone…she likes it that way…anyways…I’m happier with a normal because she talks me down from residual paranoia and delusion…you guys here help me a lot too, but she is my rock.

Don’t ever underestimate the luck you have in getting a significant other for yourself!!

My husband has mental illness but not sz or mania.
His anxiety is sky high and his depression is severe.
It’s also difficult to deal with but then again he puts up with me and my issues.
It’s fair. And he doesn’t judge me for my problems.
