What movie was it and how old were you?
I saw Aliens from the top of the staircase one night when I couldn’t sleep.
My parents had no idea I was up there.
I don’t remember my exact age,
But I had to have been young.
Real young.
Four to six maybe.
The first one I was allowed to see was I believe Speed.
I was maybe eleven or twelve.
I promptly went to my Christian school and told everyone every detail.
Wasn’t allowed to watch R rated movies again until practically high school.

I remember watching some of A Nightmare on Elm Street probably in 2002 when I was 11 or 12. My mom told me not to watch it but I watched it anyway.

The Last Hard Men with James Coburn
My dad took me and my brother to watch it.
There were scenes of rape in the movie that shocked me at the time.
I must have been 12 years old

I don’t remember how old I was, but my parents would load me and my sis up in the van with some sleeping bags and take us to the drive-in theater where we were supposed to sleep while my mom and dad watched the movie…we always tried to stay awake to see it but inevitably fell asleep. This was in the 70s…

Saw a movie called The War of the Roses when I was about 7. It’s supposed to be a black comedy but it was a straight up horror movie to me at the time lol

Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It was mt favorite from age 6 or something. But my dad always skipped the Castle Anthrax scene when we watched it to the point I didn’t know it existed until well into my 20s. That was a fun discovery.
