Finding myself to be ignorant

My mother didn’t answer questions. It was part of her mental illness.

You seem to be obsessed with your parents. It’s all you talk about on here. Have you tried talking to a professional about It?

@PinCushion 's a senior. Its hard not to reminisce at her age.

True, I still think talking to a professional about it would help her greatly.

@TheCanuk, These are thoughts I have while in my room and I cannot get to a professional.

That’s sad to know I was catatonic as well in my psychosis

If you had a professional to talk to, you could write those thoughts down and show them at your next meeting.

Can’t your provider help set something up for you? I can’t figure out if you live in a group home or what, but are you able to talk to the staff about things like this?

I feel ignorant a lot. Incapable of anything. Can’t focus on thinking. I feel like I have dementia sometimes. My parents never taught me much either.

I do have a clinician. I just don’t like her much. I’m sorry if I’m a burden to you. I will try writing in a journal. I live in a group home but am lonely as the provider is usually busy. It is very easy for me to feel rejected.

By all means, continue writing on here; I dont mind.

I think seniors are more educated than professionals to be honest, even if they are ill or not.

I hope that changes and you’re able to access a professional.
