Well I finally did it. I moved to Germany with my black cat Timon after travelling for a grueling 27 hours! I’ve been talking about moving to Germany for years now and here too! It’s so nice being back home
Ah! A neighbour! Im from the Netherlands! Why did you want to move to germany, and wherefrom?
Congrats anyway, hope you will have a nice home there!
In my experience Germans are kind and Berlin is one of my favorite cities.
I got out of the U.S military some time ago and I wanted to go back home. I moved from Alabama after living with my stepdad since February.
I haven’t been to the Netherlands since I was a kid but its a lovely country
FYI: I just ate a currywürst
A nice! I see now in your profile that you have a wife and kids too. Is she from germany as well? Or US? How do they find it?
Going back home is nice! Haha and glad you enjoyed currywurst (no idea how to get these german dots on top of the u) .
27 Hours of travelling, that was long… I wish you all the best living there
Congrats @SailorTheFox59!
Glad you got to move to Germany. Hope all goes well for you there.
Guten tag!
1515
She’s from California but they are coming to Germany in like March once I find a house to rent or buy
What does 1515 mean?..I’ve seen a few people post it.
You have to have a minimum of 15 characters to post. People put that to fill space.
Nice! Some time alone for you to prepare a home, and then reunion with your loved ones. Good! I hope you find a nice home!
The military allowed you to join up with your disability?
I got schizo while in service. I wasn’t diagnosed with anything before, until 2 1/2 years later
Thank you for your service.
Am happy for you!
I lived in the Netherlands for a few months as a kid. Largest town to me was Utrecht but we were in a very rural area. I remember it as one of the happiest times of my childhood. I made friends much more easily than home in the US.
Congratulations man. I hope it will be exactly as you expected
Glad you are doing well @SailorTheFox59.
Hi I recently moved into an assisted living facility,it’s supposed to be the best one in the greater tampa area.
Does anyone else live in one? They have arts and crafts a hair shop, a masseuse and a cafeteria, however it’s
very expensive ,as you might have guessed. Unfortunately there is no pool and no trips to the ymca, dam!
I like it so far but there are a lot of old people 70yrs and up and I’m only 54 . Any suggestions? I’d rather
live in a high rise with someone else to live with. My dumb sister picked this place out. I guess I have to give it
some time.
