Finally got a new watch. It’s the original one I wanted and not the black seiko that would be awesome too. Here she be. And a pic of my now three watch collection.

Thanks yeah I’m into watches and knives. They’re nice but attainable. I might get a cool Casio some day. I’m mainly into mechanical or automatics.
those are some nice, fancy watches…I used to wear a watch when I was a working man…no need now…nice man.
I love watches
Nice looking watch there @TheSecondVariety
I have an astronauts watch. They don’t sell them in stores. It’s an Omega. It’s digital and analog. If you go to a jewelry store you will only find analog Omegas.
This one is special ordered and engraved with my name and call sign and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
I never wear it.
Do you have a picture of it? I would like to see a digital Omega.
Yeah sure. Hang on. I keep it in the box.
I had the battery changed a few months ago and set the time. It’s a pain in the ass to set because you have to set the digital and the analog so they match. I wore it one day I think.
It was deader than a door nail but you ought to be able to see it. The digital stuff has many different option. Alarms the date and all that stuff.
Sorry. I took the picture upside down but I set the time right on both.
For daylight savings time you can usually just change the digital and the analog follows but when the battery dies everything’s out of whack.
Ok, cool. You should wear it though. Why not??
I have an Tissot automatic but I don’t use it. I should start using it. It’s a shame people buy expensive watches and just put them away (talking about myself here).
Me too. I bought it in like 2005 or 2007 when I was in Iraq. I wore watches then. Now I just pull my phone out and look at it if I want to know what time it is. I need to put another link back in it.
I was much skinnier in the Marines. I have the links I took out of it though in the box. Just need to go to a pawn shop or something and let them put one back in there. The band is titanium.
It still fits but it’s kind of tight.
That’s a heavy duty watch. Nice. I haven’t seen this Omega before. I didn’t know they did a digital analog. I think the main watch in the movie Tenet was analog digital kinda like that. Omega is my dream brand. My single dream watch though is the seiko sla055. Here are some pics of it. They’re made by the grand seiko people.
When I take it to the jewelry store to get the battery changed the jewelers always freak out and say they have never seen an Omega like that.
I have been there a few times. They just never remember.
Yeah I’ve seen some stuff Omega has done that’s not as standard. Idk though much except the main ones. I’m not really in the market for one so I just ogle over them.
I like the Tissot gentleman. The prx gets a lot of love. They got the divers too.
The citizen I posted is titanium as well as the bracelet. I always do natos, but the
bracelet is pretty decent. The titanium brings down the weight quite a bit. Here you can see how dark the titanium makes it look compared to stainless steel.
Yeah I got a regular dress watch. It’s the only one I could afford. I need to buy a new strap for it though but those are expensive which I really don’t get.
I could only dream of an Omega.
