It took me 32 minutes to file federal and state taxes. This is the 7th year I’ve used Turbo tax and it’s always easy. If you had one job and your financial situation is simple I would recommend it.

Yes I used turbo tax, it was quick because I could import my w-2 and didn’t have to add much additional info

Yeah, it took me longer because I didn’t know how to upload my W2 info so I had to go box by box.

I use tax act to file ours. Mine is more complicated because we are self employed so we have 1099 forms to submit. I tell you, the government loves taxing people with small businesses. Anyway, I like tax act. It’s pretty self explanatory.

There’s a free edition. You can pay to get added features (which I can’t think of right now). If you have a simple tax situation then the free edition is enough.

I use Turbo Tax, the free version, love it, quick and easy. Idk how many minutes it took me, but I did it quickly on my phone yesterday; I was able just to point my phone’s camera at my w-2, and it autofilled from that. My taxes are simple. I had the same job all year, live and work in the same state, no city tax to deal with where I live.

I have also used turbo tax the last 7 years. The last few years I’ve been able to import my w2’s. Although last year I made too much money so I had use the paid version but it was only $49 and theres an option to have it taken out of your tax return.
