Fidget Spinner, get one!

Hello,

You may or may not have read my post recently about feeling stress. I’m terrible at recognising stress when it’s building until it actually has an affect one me. I either start getting really snappy or, more recently, I’ve been literally pulling out chunks of hair.

Anyway, I told my sister about this and she recommended I get a fidget spinner to distract myself from pulling out hair. So yesterday I got one. I also saw, in a cheap two dollar store, a fidget cube.

We got home and I started playing with my fidget spinner. Then we had to go out again and it was later in the day so the shops were busier. We also went to a different shopping centre because I wanted to buy a book. So I took my fidget spinner and spun my way around the shops through the crowds.

The crowds didn’t bother me so much, they normally would make me feel a bit anxious but I had my little fidget spinner. We searched all the shops for a fidget cube and eventually found one.

So now I have something to do with my hands other than pull out my hair. And I have something to distract myself when I’m feeling a bit anxious.

The cube is great. All six sides have a different activity. Clicking, spinning, rubbing etc. It’s great.

The fidget spinner I picked up from Kmart for $2 and the cube cost $15 from a toy store.

Tiggy, my kitty cat, is fascinated by both.

I really recommend either or both of these tools for anyone who needs distraction from anxiety or stress behaviours.

Thanks for reading.

That’s great turtle!

I bought some for my nieces as fidget spinners are the “in thing” but they got bored with them quite quickly. Kids eh?

I think all you would like the version on mobile. Download it on appnaz dot com

I got a fidget spinner from the Dollar Tree, and I spun it so much that I made a painful sore on my index finger. I’ll have to wait until that heals before I use it again.
