Feeling pretty off today. A mixture of anxiety and lonliness

Sorry you’re feeling this way @anon94176359. It seems like you’ve been having a lot of trouble lately. Do you think you need to talk to your pdoc about changing meds?

I will speak to my doc. That is a good idea.

I think I am very stressed by real world things right now too.

I usually just close the curtains and put music in my headphones. Hasn’t seemed to have worked today though. Thanks for asking though - is kind of you.

It’s wonderful that you are reaching out for support. I’m sure thoughts are flooding your mind, “Nothing helps. It won’t go away. I can’t take this anymore. It’s too hard.” Use us as a distraction. Is there anything we can offer support with about real life stress?

Oh @FlyingPurplePeopleMeeter you are a good pal and very considerate. I am so touched by this - is exactly what support I really need right now.

Am getting help from family on the real life stuff. I just hate things hanging over me unresolved. But that is life I suppose

I’ve been learning through counseling that we need to live in the tension. I want it settled, too. I want projects finished, the to-do list checked off, problems resolved, and things to be stable. The uncertainty is hard. Feeling inadequate and incompetent and not able to keep up is hard, too. I’m so glad you have family to help you. Their support is vital.

Do you have a case manager or peer support specialist who can talk you through this a little? Med adjustments might help too. I totally get the anxiety problem. I’m sorry you’re suffering.

I feel kinda like I am being weak and silly if I phone my team over this stuff. Like I’m only phoning for reassurance.

This is exactly what they’re there for. You shouldn’t feel bad about calling them up whenever you need to.

I receive reassurance from my counselor all the time. And from my support team. It’s reorienting and motivating.
