Feeling pretty good today :-)

I have the day off from work, which is always nice, and I got home from the gym an hour ago. I did a nice two-hour workout; as always my workout was mostly cardio (maybe half an hour of strength training), and cardio always elevates my mood.

The Haldol I started a week ago seems to be helping some. I feel more steady, anyway, don’t feel like I’m about to lose my ■■■■. I still am forever talking to people who aren’t there, something that I don’t normally do when I’m mentally well, but I think that just may be my new normal. I may have established a new baseline, unfortunately. The Haldol already doesn’t knock me on my arse like it did with the first dose I took, but I find I have a harder time getting up in the morning, and that I require more sleep now. Maybe that will go away with time.

Glad you’re feeling positive. It’s great to be able to go to the gym like that.

It was the first time going to the gym in about two weeks, need to get back in the habit of going often. I just lack the motivation most days, even though I know it will help my mood.

I was in a gym once in my life, and never went back. Cardio is supposed to be very good for schizophrenia.
