i feel sedated
Abilify didn’t cause sedation for me. Its the opposite its stimulating and I am resltless.
Latuda 120mg and Risperdal 4-6mg did cause sedation for me. Clozapine causes even more sedation.

Is there a reason you don’t take your meds before you go to bed?

My loxapine made me really tired when I first started it. Now I’m not tired anymore. Seroquel did the same thing but after a few months, I adjusted to it and was no longer drowsy
I initially felt over medicated too. For a whole year and a half. I dunno why they do it, maybe to get you out the hospital to make space for more ppl. Maybe because they dunno how much you need in the beginning and so in their eyes it is safer to overmeficate than undermedicate. Idk. All I knows is it Sux being on a high dose but apparently for the best

I felt over medicated when I first started Abilify injection.
It faded after a couple months.
I think you need to give it time.
You can’t expect immediate and perfect results from an AP right away.
