I have to make up for it by having personality. That requires work and I’m not always willing.

Well, I’m not the most handsome man on the planet, but I don’t let it bother me. I’m surprised that you care much at your age. I don’t even care that much at 50.
I’ve never seen a picture of you so I obviously cant give you an honest opinion, but I bet you look fine.
Maybe it’s because I’m a guy. IDK.
I’ve felt ugly since I can remember. I let it affect me by developing stage fright. I ran away from appearing on tv because of it. My mother was insulting and brought me down instead of building me up. She didn’t have that a good an opinion of herself so part of it was just like mother, like daughter. I’ve got to shrug it off.

prep I’m sure you have some attractive sides. I only look at the face or the hands of the woman and if I fancy those then I get attracted to the woman no matter of here body size.
My body size isn’t the problem, anymore. It’s negativism, no teeth and a perpetual frown.

I had monkey chants directed at me by a classful of other boys while waiting for a teacher to come in and start a geography class. I was regarded as an ugly freak.A couple of decades later I joined a ‘rate your looks’ group set up by someone on a UK depression newsgroup I used to post on. I got rated 4.3 while the rest were rating each other between 7-8. They were both very hurtful experiences. I was unpopular at school and on that newsgroup. Both of those experiences were basically a different way of bullying me.
I remember the last time you posted your picture, @PinCushion. You were adorable looking and should not be self-conscious about your appearance.

I think it’s probably been that way your whole life.
