I quit in May of 2011, and I feel like smoking right now. I have Emphysema so I can’t smoke anymore. I sure would feel good though.
don’t romance the cigarette, friend…it will get you into trouble.
Good morning @anon54988740 @jukebox
Looks like a wet wintry day
Good morning @jukebox @anon29983254 I know. I don’t want to go through nicotine withdrawals again. A good thing I don’t have a car to run to the store with right now.
I only smoke when I drink liquor. Trying to quit both.
Hang in there @TheCanuk. I tried maybe ten times to quit smoking before I finally did. Good luck
@anon54988740 congrats quitting 12 yrs thats amazing!!!
Thanks. If I could just stop drinking for that long.
Lifes challenges keep us on our toes
Thank you!

Any plans today?
Not really. I’ll probably be on the forum a lot. There’s the Sunday morning talk shows I haven’t watched in a while, so I’ll probably watch TV.
Sounds good , same here really
Yes, but does the cigarette want you?
Consent is important in relationships.
Just don’t buy them. This is what I used to quit. Unfortunately for awhile my mom, had me get her some, so on occasion, I had one of hers. My mom has since quit for health reasons.
I also smoked a few that were given to me by ex brother in law, when I was helping him with some work on one of his houses.
Now that the opportunities are gone, I haven’t had one for quite awhile.
If you refuse to buy them, your opportunities to smoke will likely be limited if you are mostly a homebody like me these days.
The urge will most likely pass. Good luck.
Thanks. I’m not going to even if someone asks me to get them a pack and pays me.
I’m around my six month anniversary since I stopped smoking in July of last year. I often crave them but just go for walks instead. Just wish the weather was more accommodating.
Hang in there @agent101g It’s 31F here right now. Not as bad as it was.
I quit three years ago. Think about them every once in awhile. They sometimes pop up in my dreams, but I don’t want to start back up again.
