My mom got a few from my brother in law and gave me two. Damned temptation. I don’t buy them anymore and I don’t bum off people so the only way that they find their way into this house is if my mom gets them.(My dad doesn’t smoke).
Quitting smoking was really hard. I tried several times. I finally stopped when we were trying to conceive. I quit in November and was expecting twins in March.
Quiting smoking cigarettes is hard, especially when your family or friends don’t support you in this regard. But you can still do it. It doeasn’t matter you occasionally have one cigarette. Don’t give up.
I think it was Oscar Wilde who said “The only way to deal with temptation is to give in to it entirely.” Nonetheless, get yer gumption up, and next time just say no thanks. Then you can tick it off your list of “things I did right today.”!
My dad smoked nearly everyday of his life. He died from a heart attack. His heart was no good. It does no good to any one to smoke those nasty cigs. I hope you get well .hugs.
I’m three days from my one month anniversary. It’s really nice except I can smell more and I’m sensitive to perfumes and colognes, they give me headaches.
