I’m so fed up of seeing others attack people for their own personal choice about how to handle their own illness.
I get some people need meds (I need meds) and physically can’t function without, but that doesn’t not give them the right to attack others for their choices and accusing them of stuff, when in reality they will never know the full situation for others.
It’s basically bullying and the lot that are doing it, are adults. No excuse if you ask me.
It’s none of their business about other people’s business.
Can everyone just be effing nice and support each other? Or if that’s not possible, just don’t talk to the people you don’t like? You don’t always have to put your two cents in.
That’s what I try to think. like I’ll say 95% of the time everyone is chill But then there are some times where is just like daaaang let’s all calm down a little.
Folks, the fact is, that the primary treatment for sz/sza is medication.
This is one reason that we are so concerned about anti-med posts on the forum. The other, equally important reason is that these kinds of anti-med posts can influence other forum members to go off their meds.
It is one thing for a forum member to potentially adversely impact their own treatment success by refusing to take meds. It is quite another for a forum member to, whether intentionally or not, influence other forum members to go off their meds.
Some of the push-back against new anti-med forum members that you’re seeing from more senior forum members is precisely because they understand the important role of medication in treatment of sz/sza and the risk of potentially influencing others to go off their meds.
Also, just a reminder that folks should always strive to be civil in their posting.
