Gonna watch The match.
So The soccer season starts soon.
Whats your team?
The game isn’t shown on my tv package. I’d say Barcelona will win.
Barcelona these days are Kinda unpredictable.
Think it Will be 50-50.
I don’t like friendly matches, they are boring to me…
Yesterday my team draw with Liverpool, if it was on champions league we would suffer a heavy defeat…
Sporting? Are they portuguese? Liverpool is hard.
Barcelona all the way!!!
Yes my club is Sporting and yes they are portuguese.
Liverpool is a great team
Gonna be interesting with griezman and the new players. Gonna try to follow some matches.
I’m getting my cable installed now so I will be able to watch all the matches
Thats awesome. 1515
I have two teams I follow in the Mexican league. Chivas de Guadalajara and Xolos from Tijuana. I was exclusively a Chivas fan until Xolos reached the first division.
As for the premier league, Arsenal was my team growing up. Still is though I haven’t been able to watch much of it. I also hold a special place for Aston Villa since it is my brother in law’s team. I was happy to hear they ascended to the premier league again. They’re a historic team. Been around for ages. They often have trouble competing with the big teams but when they pull off an upset victory it is a sweet feeling.
As for Spanish teams, Barcelona is the one that I follow. They always have a super team which surpasses most national teams in terms of play.
The main team I follow lately is Xolos from Tijuana though.
I’ve never been able to get into soccer. They are great athletes though.
Football soccer is a lot like hockey. You either love it or you find it boring. Some games are super entertaining, others are like watching paint dry. Usually anything with 1-1 at half time gets interesting. I especially love those games where the score is like 3-2. One thing about football is that over time you start admiring the passing and team chemistry. It becomes noticeable who is on the defensive more often. Some teams have great defense and mostly score in counter attacks. Some teams play aggressively and are good in midfield but poor on the defensive side. And some teams play for possession, those seem to be a bit more boring.
Unfortunately lately. Mexico’s national team tries to play for possession. I have a love hate relationship with my national team. Of course I love them and would always like to see them win but sometimes I hate how they’re playing. Truth be told Mexico has a problem with players starting to think they’re the ■■■■. Like diva players. Sure they’re good against North American teams and some smaller South American teams but their ego gets inflated.
They usually lose against the upper tier teams. Heck they have problems with Argentina and Uruguay. Once they start winning more against Argentina, Uruguay, Netherlands, Italy, and the like, then I’ll have hopes of someday seeing Mexico better compete in the World Cup. Until then they mostly have some ego inflated players who just don’t do well against top teams.
I do have hope for the newer players. They recently won the Concaf cup. (Which Mexico usually achieves) but that’s part of the problem with their egos. Suddenly they start acting like they’re hot ■■■■ until they get stomped by Brazil.
At leas their win in the CONCACAF almost guaranteed they’ll have an at least 4 star rating in the new FIFA 20 video game releasing this September.
Soccer can be a bit hard to get into, yes.
I think World cup is just a dream for some teams.
