what is the difference between Champions League, Europa League, and FA Cup?

Champions league is Europe wide cup from the top few teams in each countries league. Europa is similar except it is from teams just below the top teams in the league. FA cup is from England only

The Champions League is the top tier Continental(European) Football competition.
Europa League is the second tier Continental (European) Football competition.
There are just two tiers.
The FA cup is a domestic English competition, but it is open to lots and lots teams
participating in the English football system, including low league teams and including teams not from England proper.

I can’t remember which teams are in the competition this year, but Liverpool seems to have a fair chance judging by yesterday’s game.
