Favorite books as a child/teenager

What are some of your favorite books made for a younger audience. With my poor reading comprehension I find books made for young adults much easier to read and I enjoy them more.

Some of my favorites are any fantasy book by Tamora Pierce

The Dead and the Gone quartet

The Warriors books by Erin Hunter

Nancy Drew was one of my favorite as a kid but I’ve yet to reread them as an adult.

I also loved Canterwood Crest as a kid, attempting to reread book one of this series but finding it a little cheesy

Anyway would love suggestions. I’m putting a list together on my kindle.

I loved anything by Roald Dahl…“Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, “James and the Giant Peach”…James Patterson has written some good young adult series, too, but i can’t think of the titles right now. Then there’s good ol’ Judy Blume books, those were always good…

My daughter is enjoying the Percy Jackson book series by author Rick Riordan. I am reading them, too, and they are a lot of fun.
