I wasn’t trying to say I had it worse, definitely not. What I meant was you’re not alone. Apparently, quite a lot of people have struggle dads, but a father has no right to abuse his children. If you are being not even abused, but treated unfairly, you most certainly reserve the right to end a relationship, put it on hold, etc.

Just remember to tell yourself “I deserve better” . You really do. No one deserves to be mistreated by anyone, especially the parents who should be protecting their children.
