Experience of an AP injection?

I’m not sure if I should try an AP injection again (other than the Abilify I was on)
A doctor here suggested it to me as an option

I highly recommend it. Not having to worry about taking your pills is great. I know you’ve been paranoid about taking them so this way you don’t have to.

I recommend it. An injection is more of a consistent dose over time. When I was on pills I hating taking the amount I was. I would also stop taking them.

Since being on injection my life has got back on track.

I recommend it. Even though I hate injections.

It’s really convenient. I get one every 3 months.

Beats the hell out of taking pills every night.

I’m on Haldol injection and it saved my life

Without haldol and lamictal id be dead by now

Lamictal is a pill haldol I get into injection form

they wont put me on typical antipsychotics cuz im young

I recommend too. For me, it seemed to work better than the pills for whatever reason anyways. I’d give it a shot, no pun intended lol.

Better than keeping up with pills

They are good if you have compliance issues but if you get a bad side effect there’s no way to remove it.

I used to be on the injections when i was on court-ordered treatment. They were okay, but i like being on the pills more…i feel like i have more agency.

There’s not much of a difference between pills and injection from a dosage standpoint. I just got sick of the needles. It’s easier to take the pills.
