you can’t improve on perfection…!
but i am giving it a go !?!
take care
This inspires me. If darksith can make an investment in the physical world - so can I. Maybe.
Why is this topic in the creativity section?
Rock on! I exercise every day by dancing and/or running, and I just started dieting, I hope to lose 65 lbs by May. Good luck with your exercising!
I hope you become a great Viking who is overweight with muscle and capable of killing with your bare hands.
But really I am addicted to exercise and it is really beneficial to my stability and mood, as well as social desirability- people are drawn to powerful looking people in sexual and ALSO non-sexual ways. I make friends easily and people like to introduce themselves to me, whether they are sexually attracted or just think I look powerful and a valuable asset to have on their side. We are apes, after all, and we do unconsciously respect bigger people more. Athletic people are more sexually attractive, bulky people are sexually attractive to some, socially desirable to most. When you see a bulky muscular man, you immediately think unconscious things like “He can lead people” or “He has strong willpower”, same goes for masculine features like wide shoulders and strong jaw lines. They teach this in business. I know two successful lawyers, one is a powerlifter and the other is a bodybuilder. One is from a gym I went to and another is one of my grade school buddy’s dad- it has been a long time, but he was very jacked when I saw him as a kid, like as muscular as I am. No ■■■■. He was a corporate lawyer and lived in a mansion.
Also a power trip every time I look in the mirror. Also makes me very confident about sex.
But seriously, being muscular and powerful carries over into other areas of life- like today I had a terrible night, took too long to wake up because I hadnt slept enough, drank lots of coffee and still wasnt very perky, then took a test. The professor said something about “killing this test” as she was passing them out and I perked up and said “Im gonna kill it and eat it!” and I did know the answers and finished before everyone else. I then drank my preworkout, went to the school gym and had a great workout and socialized a bit with the other gym rats in between sets.
It’s a lifestyle that some men (less women) find rewarding and so they keep lifting heavy weights and eating lots of nutritious food. I talk as equals with the other big guys and give advice to less experienced guys. It’s a subculture, they make lines of clothing (for the gym and for leisure) and even genres of music for weightlifters. Go to a GNC or vitamin store and look at the people shopping and the products they sell- its an industry! All for guys like me to feel badass!
been doing so much cardio lately knife up to mouth back down to plate repeat!
hard work.
Good for you, darksith. I haven’t exercised for 2 months, just being lazy and tired. Maybe this tiredness is caused by the amino acid I am taking. Just don’t feel like moving.
@pob…i put it in creativity, my body is a statue of perfection…lol
@RowanAmethyst…good on you…mrs sith loves dancing.
@dandydinmot…my arms are huge because of this exercise.
@mortimermouse…hey thanks for the encouragement…i am feeling better already.
@green5…you are not lazy, being sz can be tiring, you’ll get back into it.
thanks guys for the support.
take care
Generally it is incorrect to call a schizophrenic lazy. Usually what one is seeing and calling laziness is part of the schizophrenia.
Jayster
Good for you!
I need to exercise again too. I’ve got the gym bag, I just need to get to the gym.
don’t worry mrs. sith joined the ’ posh ’ gym with gold membership, cost a small fortune…
one of the staff was rude to her…she was not happy !!
never went back !
take care
i just went to the gym and sauna this evening, seems to help a bit
good on you.
take care
it is helping me.
I love the idea of dancing. That is a fun way to get into shape.
Have fun and I hope you make it to what ever shape you would like to be in.
Right now I like being L shaped.
Yup, negative symptoms, not personality traits. I am not lazy per se but when I am not in school, like this past summer break, I laid on the couch most of the time, napped and watched anime, then would lift weights and hangout with my friends at night. Now I am actually working hard in school again. Today I have a full plate, yesterday I was pretty busy but not too busy. I get work done very quickly when I free myself from all other distractions, takes me a little longer to study if I am texting while doing so, but I can still do it.
I appear selectively lazy in the summers, but that is out of choice. Not even negative symptoms, just me being a little pooh bear after a year in school. Like winter and spring breaks- I work on papers or workout and the rest of the day I sit on my ass.
But some of us have strong avolition, anhedonia, alogia, absence of healthy behaviors, which can look like laziness but is in fact mental illness and not out of choice.
I’m going to go to the gym AT&T my school, so if one of the sophomores gives me any lip I’ll give him a fat lip. JK!
ETA: AT&T? Oh my silly smartphone! At, I meant AT! That’s what I get for posting in class right before it starts!
You can`t beat some type of dancing, aerobic, moving around excercise. I just started again about a month ago. It ALWAYS improves my mood. Just wish I could remember this all the time!
