I have never rode on a train. Is it cheaper than flying?

Well… I’m only going 4 hours away, so a plane wouldn’t make sense I don’t think lol I’m gonna have to look up to see if they have flights there now!

Wow… I just looked up how much it would cost to fly to my friends town and it’s 500 something dollars!! That’s crazy…

Train rides are great fun. Once you get over your anxiety, I’m sure you’ll enjoy yourself. Bring books to read, and be sure you have a jacket. Rode once on a train with no heat. It was awful. Just keep in mind you are going to see your friend, if you focus on that you should feel less anxious and start to have fun. The scenery will be beautiful!

I’m sure it should be mostly the same, minus new social distancing/masks depending on where you are. I know you will be okay! And if you’re not, you’re in a place full of people who can help you. Try to think about it that way. I hope you enjoy your trip.

If you like music, make sure to bring some ear/headphones on the train to pass time or a book/ magazines. And also snacks and drinks as they can be expensive on trains

Don’t let it get to you. Trains are very unlikely to crash. Plus, it’s worth it because you get to see your friend
