have you guys done it basically horse therapy
I have a book about equine therapy.
I have my own horse.
She was given to me.
These people said “do you want her””if you do not want her we will take her to the doggers”(dog meat).
She was bony and sick and covered in ticks and she was dying.
I said I will have her and she is one of the best things to ever happen to me.
A great love of my life.
She was to skinny and sick to be ridden .
I had cancer around the same time so we kind of healed together.
I have ridden her for years now.
Some of the best moments of my life are with her.
After yeeeaaarzzzz of riding her I can now nolonger handle her outside her paddock.
She snorts and becomes gigantic and I have lost confidence so I can nolonger ride her or even lead her out side her paddock.
I volunteer worked for riding for disabled before I became paranoid about everyone there.
That’s disabled people that go and ride horses once a week.
Some horse owners volunteer their horses to be ridden.
Some ride independently others get led.
Physically and mentally disabled.
They used pony club grounds arena.
In Australia .
The more experienced or capable of riding independently ones got to ride in another bigger arena.
There is a farm in America where they have horse therapy at their ranch .
That is like a two week camp I think .
I am grateful I can still hang out with my horse even though it’s in the paddock.
Such a shame because I have ridden her by myself for so many years and we have overcome so many obstacles together.
Walked over scary bridges, ridden along bing roads, up and down super steep hills etc
We were sometimes like a cantaur.
I miss riding her.
I miss her but thankful I can still be with her.
Riding for disabled is either free or $5 a hour here.
Owning your own horse is very expensive.
I spend a lot of my money on my horse but she’s worth it.
I do not drink alcohol,go to consents, eat at restaurants, smoke etc
