Encouraging Delusions

I am sorry if my actions encouraged others to think about their delusions in a bad way

I only posted the thread yesterday as my Psychologist thought I should talk to other people about this, as I was angry and she said you need to get perspective from those who are on both sides of the argument.

I will avoid posting in the unusual beliefs section again, as I do not want to be responsible for upsetting anybody.

Thanks

It had some interesting conversations, some posts maybe went over the line but I was kinda surprised it didn’t get opened back up.

I tried to reply but it was locked, I have been having crazy dreams lately, I became aware I was dreaming the other night and tried to wake up only to go into another dream. I was afraid my dream state was a state of psychosis that I would get stuck in, it was a bit scary.

I kind of had carryover into waking where I wondered if the dream wasn’t some other reality but I’m pretty sure it’s all in my head. It’s seriously crazy how much is controlled by our mind, it is what interprets our entire existence so it isn’t too surprising that when we have issues with our brain processing things our world distorts.

You took the words from my mouth, @Joker. I understand I think where you’re coming from. Or I can at least relate.

I, too, would like to apologize if I have ever encouraged delusions to you or anyone else from my possibly unusual beliefs and my struggling with delusions myself.

I won’t tell you how to live your life, I won’t preach at you, but for me, seeing a pdoc and counselor regularly really balances things, like the delusions. I can sort of bounce questions and ideas off my healthcare team and they have really supportive feedback.

I am grateful to be blessed with an awesome support network, spiritually, and otherwise. Just talking to someone, esp. a professional, helps to vent thoughts off my mind and reduce unhealthy overthinking, in my case.
