I donāt know too much about him other than heās the richest man in the world.
No - there will be a exodus of people who donāt want to be hearing misinformation and anything goes speech.

I did not think Musk was serious when he made his initial unsolicited bid, but I was wrong. Once he secured financing from Morgan Stanley it showed he was serious.

I donāt have twitter so Iām not too bothered. Id be worrying incase I sent a tweet to the rulers of this world. I had the same feeling over FB, so I did away with it.

On a more serious note, I think Elon Musk is an alright person. Eccentric maybe, but I mean I donāt think heād have someone killed just for talking ā ā ā ā about him and billionaires do have that sort of power I thinkā¦
As for twitterā¦ honestly I donāt think itāll be an immediately visible change. If anything, I think he has an interest in artificial intelligence and seeing how algorithms that might flag articles as disinformation or factoids might be something he has interested in seeing as far as the development of a.i. and how it can be influenced (what can be done about a negative aspect it may be found to have). Like learning about that stuff, it really is something new and if I had that type of money, Iād probably be interested in learning about that too once in awhile on my free time. Why it might selective choose articles and what sort of patterns about the selection might look like. I think he has that kind of money that he probably would he interested in that sort of thing as an afterthought about becoming a majority share holder in one of the most used communication mediums in the western world.
I think maybe Asia has its own form of Twitter?
I think all these billionaires especially technology magnates can pretty much pull up a detailed profile about anyone with a computer or smart phone in the world.

Legal Status: Single, Court case pending, assault charges, Duel Citizenship of (country/ies name)
Private life: Diagnosed with schizophrenia paranoia in (year), recovering pornography addict, etc.

Once Musk realizes thereās a lot of money lost to lawsuits over defamation, heāll reinstate policies which ālimit free speechā. Iāve been in risk management, and companies donāt care about anything but money, and they will mitigate the risk of losing that money.
But really, I donāt care either way. I donāt care about Musk, I donāt care about what his big plans are, and my opinion, like most of us, doesnāt matter.
Well, I mostly agree with your post as far as the importance of what is being discussed to me personally. I too donāt often sit around thinking about Musk or Twitter for that matter, but where I do disagree is that your opinion does not matter. The irony is I find your opinion more interesting than I do the actual topic. No offense to MentalFloss of course, I know sometimes people who find interest in current events like discussing views on them.
