Twitter board adopts 'poison pill' after Musk's $43 billion bid to buy company

Not sounding good for Musk. I’m disappointed.

With Musk it could have been perfectly possible that he would have changed his mind a week later. Moreover, he’s already leading SpaceX and Tesla. He doesn’t have much time and already had his work cut out.

Also he was planning to take twitter off the stock market so you couldn’t have invested anyway.

Yeah, I kind of realized that after I typed. I could’ve bought it before the takeover though and probably made a profit on the stock. It is still listed in my Stash app, so it is currently selling.

I invested that money that I had in my Stash account in more Tesla stock instead. Once that transaction goes through my Tesla stock will be worth about $3350. My biggest single investment.

I also Invest in the stock market. But mainly European stocks.

I have 2 North American Stocks:
Berkshire Hathaway (since I’m a Warren Buffet fan) and Thomson Reuters (my pre-sz employer).

The stock markets are still holding up pretty good so that’s good news for us. The blood bath has been in the bond market with rising interest rates.

My best performer is Costco. My second best has been Tesla.

I don’t believe Musk wanted to buy Twitter, but further his influence on the platform with his 80M+ followers. Of his $260B fortune, only about 10% is liquid, so he would need to borrow against his stake in Tesla and SpaceX. That’s way too risky–even for him.

Musk claims to be an advocate for free speech, yet he has dozens of people blocked on his Twitter account.

I expect Musk to withdraw his offer and sell his stock on April 20 (420). Elon just can’t stop with the cannabis references ($54.20 offer?). He also recommended that Twitter should remove the W from its name.

Well-played, Elon.

Not impressed with Elon.

I believe in Tim Cook’s vision over Elon of the future.
