Early morning thoughts, tobacco and cigars

I could not sleep and so I made some coffee. It is 3:10 am and it is surely a memorable midsumer. I wanted to write about dangers of smoking tobacco and cigars. Many of you may remember Rush Limbaugh and his radio show. I used to listen to this show when I lived in America in 1999. One of things he communicated was how he was a Cigar General and then he promoted cigar smoking and provided advices how to store and maintain cigars. You may remember that he later had lung cancer and this was the cause of his death. Before dying Trump gave him a medal of some kind. I know many people who have died to cancers caused by smoking. Even one dean of the business school in Michigan died to cancer, he always smoked his pipe. I really recommend people not to smoke and those who are smoking to stop this unhealthy habit. So these were my early morning thoughts. I have noticed that writing helps me to concentrate better and keep my thoughts focused.

My dad smoked cigarettes since the age of ten. But died after three heart attacks the fourth one got him. He was sixty four. He’s been gone almost two years now.

I don’t know what’s inside cigarettes or tobacco.

I know i smoke less when i use tobacco without additives.

My grandma smoked cigars her whole life until the end she quit because second hand smoke did something bad. She never recovered after that.

It’s 3:15 am. I can’t sleep either.

so glad I gave up cigarettes. still amazes me I stopped.

@jukebox how did you do it? I felt some meds made me smoke since I’ve picked them up in the hospital. Was nothing else to do. But clozepine make me not feeling the snoke as it used to so almost makes no sense of smoking anylonger. But there’s still not much as I feel doing besides takeing walks and browseing the net on my phone.

for me, just one try of about a thousand tries, I decided that no matter what or no matter how long it took to feel better without nicotine I was prepared to fight the long haul and I quit just like that. you can never have another cigarette once you stop. or you’re hooked again.
