After friday we are going to buy a Christmas tree and I can’t wait. We didn’t have a Christmas tree last year and it is my favorite holiday. I know it’s early but Christmas trees really cheer me up. It’s just a $40 dollar tree but it’s prelit with 400 colored lights. Yay !!

Christmas can be a happy time, but I’ve had some terrible Christmas times too. It sounds like you’re on track for a nice one though. I think I might be too.

I just put all the lights on the house yesterday. I firmly don’t believe in waiting until after Thanksgiving. I hate Thanksgiving and try to ignore it completely.

Are you going to buy many Christmas presents, I probably buy just one, for myself. I am surely going to eat well, which I like very much. Good food, good drinks, good chocolate and everything else good.

I like Christmas, because stores have many special chocolates for sale such as this, tastes quite great, Lemaitre Crisp Praline Belgian Chocolate.
I’ve come to dread X-mas day. It always involves visiting with the wife’s relatives and not enjoying it as a family. Really can’t wait until it’s over and done with.

One time I was in jail on Christmas. One person made a brief comment that it was Christmas and no one said anything about it after that. Besides that, most of my Christmases have been pretty good. At the assisted living center where I live they have a couple of Christmas parties and give us presents, some of which are pretty good. They make an effort for us to have a good Christmas.

You are funny, my mother gave it to me last Christmas, it is the plastic Christmas tree and I can use it every year.
I have a plastic tree too. It’s full size though.
your tree reminds me of a “Charlie Brown Christmas” where his tree bent over from the single ornament he put on it.

That’s funny too, it has already small ornaments, it is about half a meter tall, a mini Christmas tree.
Do you still remember the time when people used real candles in their Christmas trees? In my childhood at least.
They opened the Christmas street already in Helsinki.
