Don't worry. It's my last story of the night

When I was 19 I was friends with a guy I had met when we both worked at the same restaraunt. I was the busboy and he was the dishwasher and one night I was going to smoke a joint out back of the restaraunt and I invited him to join me and we hit it off and pretty soon we were smoking pot out back at most of our breaks and drinking beer we had stolen from the keg in the kitchen.

We both had old Chevys to drive around in; his was an old 1964 Chevy Impala and mine was a 1966 Chevelle Malibu. He lived in a different city and we used to drive to each others houses and than drive around drinking and going to parties.

Anyway, I remember I had bought a sheet of blotter acid to sell but I would take some with my friend. One night we decided to drive to Monterry Bay. He had an old friend of his we took with us and we all three took a hit of acid and took off for the 60 mile trip, I was driving, We had some various adventures but on the way back were driving in a beach town on a pitch black, winding road through the hills. So were driving and there’s a car ahead of us and it was late at night so no one else was around. We couldn’t see who was inside but my friend started egging me on to tailgate the other car with my high beams (headlights) on. So I started getting close and than dropping back and then getting close again to the other cars bumper. Like I said, we were on acid and we thought this was hilarious.

Our third friend kept warning us not to do but we thought it was the funniest thing on earth, But then all of a sudden the car in front of is stopped and three seconds later 4 men jumped out of it and started walking towards. It scared the crap out of us. I think
we set the world record for sobering up while on acid.

My instincts took over and I put my car in reverse and floored it. Like I said , it was a pitch black and winding but I was doing about thirty mph in reverse and I could barely see a dammed thing. Well, they didn’t chase us but boy that little adventure was almost one of the biggest blunders I made at that age. And I had to put up with the third guy with us smirking and saying. “I told you so”.

You have a lot of interesting stories to tell us. My childhood and early years were quite different without any similar experiences.
